Support Projects of the Palestinian people

As the stand by the State of Kuwait’s leadership and people is continuous to support the Palestinian people, on all levels and at all international events, and offering all forms of support and help to the Palestinian people, Kuwait Red Crescent Society will continue offering moral and material support to the brothers in Palestine. The Society was and is still at the forefront of red crescent and red cross societies in the field of offering aids to the Palestinian people.In light of the difficult conditions suffered by the Palestinian people in the occupied lands and the rise of poverty ratios, the Society decided to offer all forms of support to alleviate the suffering of the impoverished Palestinian categories.The Society executed a large number of projects in Jerusalem, the West Bank, Qalqilia, Janeen, Tubas, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Hebron, Naples and other areas.

The Society is keen to continue the humanitarian works for the Palestinian people by distributing food parcels, “Eid clothing project”, and the schoolbag and stationary project for many students at all the Palestinian governorates, as well as offer scholarships to the students in Gaza Strip.Further, the Society is keen to support those with special needs, rehabilitate the handicapped, the sacrificial project, the charity loaf in addition to the flour bag project for poor families in remote villages.The Palestinian families sponsorship project is considered as a great humanitarian work carried out by the Society whereby it provides the Palestinian family with a constant monthly salary to assist it in living in the different conditions.

In the holy month of Ramadan and during Eid Al Fitr days, the Society is concerned to donate five bakeries distributed to the different areas of Gaza strip.The society has also restored the houses of a big number of Palestinian families which sustained damage during the Israeli attack on Gaza Strip in 2008.
