The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) has distributed aid to 1,000 Syrian displaced families in Lebanon’s southern towns and villages in coordination and cooperation with Lebanon Red Cross (LRC).The aid includes food packages, of which one is enough for five family-members, that are to be handed to 500 Syrian families in Wazzani village, and 500 other families in Arsal town, Khaled Al-Makhyal, head of KRCS team in Lebanon, said.
A Jordanian humanitarian official on Saturday thanked Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) for its continued support of Syrian refugees in Jordan. KRCS “has been providing” humanitarian supplies for Syrian refugees in Jordan since outbreak of Syrian crisis in March 2011, and in coordination with Jordan’s Red Crescent, Dr. Mohammad Al-Hadeed, chairman of JRC, said.

The vouchers are worth USD 50 each.
