KRCS distributes 5,000 food baskets in Kuwait during Ramadan
Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) said Monday it has started distributing around 5,000 food basket for around 250 needy families daily in Kuwait during Ramadan.
In a statement, the acting head of the society’s local aid department Lama Al-Othman said that the project targeted needy families in Kuwait and it included different varieties of food within the (food basket) project.
Al-Othman added that KRCS also distributed coupons for around 2,000 families before Ramadan in collaboration with General Secretary of Kuwait’s Awqaf Foundation.
Al-Othman called citizens, residents and companies in the country to offer their help and donations and to contribute to the success of the Ramadan project this year.
