Kuwait Red Crescent chief, Lebanese PM examine humanitarian efforts
Chairman of Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer & Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri on Saturday revised the society’s philanthropic programs in the country namely those intended to relieve Syrian refugees.Dr. Al-Sayer, said that he examined with the premier the Kuwaiti humanitarian support for the refugees & aid for Lebanon to help it cope with hosting the large number of those who have fled their country for safety.
Al-Hariri for his part, expressed gratitude during the meeting to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for supporting Lebanon. He also lauded the assistance provided by the Kuwaiti government & people for the Syrian refugees.Identical thoughts were expressed by the Lebanese Minister of State for Refugees Mu’in Al-Mer’ebi & Major General Mohammad Khair, secretary general of the local supreme relief authority, who attended the meeting with the premier.The meeting also included the deputy chief of the Kuwait diplomatic mission, Mohammad Al-Wugayyan, & officials from the Kuwait and Lebanese relief societies.
